Abstract: 

Basic life support (BLS) following by Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is intended to rescue the patients with acute circulatory or respiratory failure or both. The most important determinant of short and long-term neurologically intact survival is the interval from the onset of the cardiac or respiratory onset to restoration of effective spontaneous functions of these vital activities.It is commonly accepted that every physician, regardless of specialty, should be able to  perform CPR. It must be also emphasized that CPR, almost invariably, necessitates a rapid interventional follow-care with ACLS procedure.Without well-performed basic life support, advanced cardiac life support is of no remark-: able benefit, BLS and ACLS are processes that must be performed step by step and with respect to the patient's condition.

Abstract: 

Improving participation in voluntary activities in Iran is important because increasing productivity among young people, given the country's young population, contributes to community sustainability. Therefore, a better understanding of volunteer motivation in Iranian youth is needed. The Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI) for assessing volunteer motivations has good psychometric properties and is adapted to several languages, but no validated Iranian translation yet exists. The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric Characteristics of voluntary functions inventory in members of Iranian Red Crescent Society. Sample size was 595 members of Youth Organization of Iranian Red Crescent Society from 31 provinces and 175 cities of Iran that were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method and responded to voluntary functions inventory. Data were collected using a demographic sample and voluntary functions inventory (VFI). Confirmatory factor analysis using principal components method was used for data analysis. The results of the present study showed that the voluntary functions inventory had validity and reliability. Also, the factor structure showed that 29 items and 6 factors well assess people's attitudes to volunteering, and the structure of this inventory was well-fitted and confirmed all goodness of fit models. The present study provides the use of the Iranian translation of the Voluntary Functions Inventory (6 scales and 29 items) to assess volunteer motivation among young Iranian volunteers.

Abstract: 

In this paper, an alternative approach in operational modal analysis is presented, utilizing image processing technique and transmissibility functions. Imaging sensors do not impose additional mass on the structure due to their non-contact nature, while transmissibility functions, independent of excitation type, can directly extract mode shapes. The innovation of this research lies in combining these two techniques to record dynamic responses and identify modal properties. To capture the temporal response history from video signals, the block-matching method with sub-pixel accuracy was employed. Validation was conducted by recording the response of the tip of a cantilevered steel beam subjected to impact excitation, using a high-speed camera and a laser vibrometer, simultaneously. The RMSE plots in the time domain and the PSD in the frequency domain indicate high accuracy of this method. Using this approach, the displacement time histories of various points on the structure were extracted from the video signals, and the modal properties, including natural frequencies, damping ratios, and mode shapes, were identified using the transmissibility matrix method. The results obtained from the proposed method were compared with the stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method and analytical solutions. The findings reveal the accuracy of the modal identification approach introduced in this article. The highest relative error in estimating the natural frequencies of the first and second modes, compared to the values from the laser method, are 0.19% and 0.13%, respectively, and in comparison to the analytical values, they are 0.34% and 1.5%, respectively.

Abstract: 

In this paper, we rst introduce the notion of c-a ne functions for c > 0. Then we deal with some properties of strongly convex functions in real inner product spaces by using a quadratic support function at each point which is c-a ne. Moreover, a Hyers-Ulam stability result for strongly convex functions is shown.

Abstract: 

Internal Auditing is a consulting, reassuring, independent and impartial activity designed to add value and improve the operations of the organization. This article examines the impact of internal auditing on NAJA's budgeting and support functions. The statistical population of this study is equal to the organizational chart approved by the NAJA Vice-President including 22 top managers and 39 middle managers with a total of 61 people. Sampling methods are in accordance with statistical population. Given the normality of the data, the distance and the quantitative variables of this study, it is appropriate test for answering research questions, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression test. Therefore, the main question of the present study is to measure the impact of Internal Audit on the functions of NAJA's budgeting and support. The internal focus is on the control and evaluation function, and the management function of the NAJA standby and support. Therefore, research hypotheses are also defined based on research questions. The results showed that the reliability of Internal Audit, Internal Audit Advisory, Control and Internal Audit function had an impact on NAJA's budgeting and support function.

Abstract: 

Radial Basis Functions (RBFs) have gained significant attention in various machine learning applications, including regression modeling, due to their ability to approximate complex, nonlinear relationships. RBFs offer a flexible approach to capturing intricate dependencies between input features and the target variable, making them particularly useful in high-dimensional and nonparametric settings. This paper investigates the use of a specific class of compactly supported RBFs, known as Wendland functions, within the framework of kernel ridge regression (KRR). We discuss their theoretical advantages—such as sparsity enforcement and computational efficiency as well as practical challenges, including parameter selection and scalability. A comprehensive overview of RBFs is provided, along with their mathematical formulation and a comparison of different RBF kernels in terms of smoothness and locality. We detail the integration of Wendland functions into KRR models, emphasizing their suitability for problems requiring robustness and interpretability. Through extensive simulation studies, the performance of the proposed approach is evaluated against conventional RBF kernels and other widely used regression techniques. Our results demonstrate that Wendland-based KRR achieves competitive accuracy while offering improved stability in the presence of noise and outliers. Furthermore, real-world case studies illustrate the effectiveness of Wendland functions in handling datasets with high collinearity, where traditional kernels often struggle. The practical implications of our findings are discussed, along with guidelines for implementation and potential extensions to large-scale or sparse data scenarios. This work contributes to the growing body of research on interpretable and efficient kernel methods, providing insights for both theoretical and applied machine learning practitioners.

Abstract: 

در این مقاله به بررسی مراحل مختلف طراحی پروانه های دریایی و مراحل مقدماتی در راه ایجاد یک سیستم تصمیم گیری پشتیبانی (Decision Support System) برای طراحی پروانه های دریایی می پردازیم. این سیستم به فعالیت هایی که می بایست پشتیبانی شوند و سازمانی که قصد دارد از این سیستم در فعالیت های طراحی خود استفاده نماید وابسته می باشد. سیستم پشتیبانی تصمیم گیری از یک ساختار تقریبی پیروی می نماید. در این تحقیق به معرفی این ساختار، جزئیات آن و اجرای مراحل اولیه آن پرداخته می شود راه حل اصلی در این سیستم به چهار مرحله کلی تقسیم بندی شده اند که عبارتند از: تحلیل وظایف (Task Analysis)، مشخص نمودن روش محاسباتی (Knowledge Used)، روشهای حل مساله (Problem - Solving) وابزارهای محاسباتی (Computational Tools). در انتها نیز از این مراحل در طراحی مقدماتی یک پروانه به روش اکارد - مورگان (Eckhard - Morgans Method) کمک گرفته می شود.

Abstract: 

In many water engineering studies, there is a need to fill lost rain data using mapping tools. In this research this has been done by 5 types of RBFs; the data used were extracted by 3 test functions in which the support domain varied from 0.1 by 0.1 meter net to 0.5 by 0.5 meter net with different numbers of stations in a unit area domain. The c parameter was optimized by cross validation method and the Normalized Mean Square Error (NMSE), Percent Average Estimation Error (PAEE) and Coefficient of determination (R2) were the statistical controlling tools for choosing suitable RBF function type. Compared to other works in literature, this work had a better performance in mapping. It is also shown that the c parameter that optimizes the RBF function is highly dependent on the support domain size; the finer the resolutions of support domain, the better the results achieved. The attribute was also found for an arbitrary station point, Z (0.25, 0.35) to show the model capability for an irregular domain. This work may be compared with meshless methods for further research.

Abstract: 

A decade after the adoption of the first legal text of the country regarding the rules governing the procedures for the application of Trade Contingency Protections (TCP), the text was revised last year and a new legal text replaces the previous text in this regard. However, after more than one year passed from the enforcement of new legislation, the revision of the text, albeit with significant text enhancements, has not yet been able to activate the mechanism of TCP in support of national production in Iran, due to shortcomings beyond the text although there is an increasing trend in the use of these measures in the world, which has not put our country aside from its scope. This paper with a critical view examines the functions of TCP in the world and the necessities that Iran is faced with.
